Originally from the Chicago suburbs, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University before gaining hands-on legal experience as a paralegal in Chicago. She then pursued her law degree at the University of Denver, refining her legal expertise in litigation and appellate law.
Before joining Sutton | Booker | P.C., Shannon honed her skills as a law clerk for The Honorable Craig Welling at the Colorado Court of Appeals, worked in energy litigation for an environmental nonprofit, and gained valuable insight into insurance defense at a Denver-based firm. Her background in energy litigation allows her to translate complex technical issues into clear, strategic guidance for clients, while her appellate experience ensures meticulous legal analysis and persuasive advocacy.
Outside the office, Shannon enjoys hiking with her family, dancing, and experiencing Denver’s vibrant live music scene.
