About Cara

Cara’s practice focuses on the representation of corporate and individual clients in first- and third-party insurance claims, insurance bad faith, premises liability, and property damage bad faith claims.

Cara earned her bachelor’s degree at Syracuse University before returning home to Colorado to attend law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. After law school, Cara gained significant experience working at the Denver City Attorney’s office where she handled civil litigation brought against the city and its employees. Cara has obtained considerable trial skills while working for several years as a prosecutor in the 18th Judicial District where she handled both felony and county court matters. This public service background has provided Cara with a broad set of skills both in and out of the courtroom.

When Cara is not in the courtroom zealously advocating for her clients, she enjoys cheering on the Broncos and Avalanche, reading historical non-fiction and learning Italian.
