Jackie Booker prevailed on a Motion to Bifurcate liability from damages and allegations of unreasonable delay or denial of underinsured motorist benefits on a disputed liability motorcycle accident with severe and permanent injuries. This permitted a fair trial on only the liability issue. The jury found the motorcycle driver did not prove the driver who changed lanes in front of him at an approaching traffic light had acted negligently, resulting in a complete defense verdict in favor of the underinsured motorist insurance carrier.
