Join a Team Where Your Work Matters.

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented litigation paralegal to join our team and play an important role in managing and moving complex litigation matters forward.

This is more than a document-and-deadline position. Our paralegals are trusted members of the litigation team who anticipate what attorneys and clients need, take ownership of their work, and help drive cases from initial investigation through discovery, settlement, trial, and appeals.

If you enjoy the pace and variety of litigation, take pride in getting the details right, and like being the person who keeps a case moving, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As a Litigation Paralegal, you’ll work closely with attorneys, clients, witnesses, and courts throughout the life of a case. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing case management and litigation support
  • Conducting detailed reviews of newly assigned cases, helping to identify and gather information needed as cases move into discovery
  • Assisting with litigation filings, client reporting, and case updates
  • Supporting attorneys in coordinating and working with experts
  • Helping with mediation reports, confidential evaluations, and settlement documentation
  • Playing an integral role in coordinating and preparing cases for pre-trial, trial, and post-trial

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, resourceful, and genuinely enjoys litigation. You don’t have to know everything on day one, but you should be someone who takes ownership, asks good questions, spots issues before they become problems, and takes pride in producing excellent work.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • An associate degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field; a paralegal certificate; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in a law office or litigation environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to identify when an issue needs to be escalated.
  • A client-service mindset and professional, courteous communication style.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative member of a litigation team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

The best litigation paralegals on our team are one step ahead. They know what is coming next in a case, anticipate what the attorney or client will need, and take action before being asked.

They are comfortable with deadlines, enjoy solving problems, and aren’t afraid to speak up when they see an opportunity to make a process better. They understand that excellent litigation support isn’t just about checking boxes—it’s about helping the entire team deliver excellent results for our clients.

Why You’ll Enjoy This Role

You’ll have the opportunity to be involved in the full life cycle of litigation, rather than being limited to one piece of the process. From investigating a new claim and managing discovery to preparing for trial and supporting post-trial matters, your work will have a direct impact on our cases and our clients.

If you’re looking for a position where your experience is valued, your initiative is appreciated, and you can continue to grow as a litigation professional, we’d like to meet you.

Apply today by submitting a cover letter, resume, and references to the Hiring Manager at careers@suttonbooker.com.
