Before joining Sutton Booker, Nate was an associate attorney with another Colorado law firm focusing on civil litigation and insurance defense. Before moving to Colorado, Nate previously worked as an attorney for the Indiana State Senate, and as an associate attorney in another law firm focusing on environmental, antitrust, and constitutional matters in state and federal litigation. While in law school, Nate gained legal experience through a judicial externship for the Honorable Stephen H. David of the Indiana Supreme Court, and as a legal intern for the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, and the Office of Governor Eric J. Holcomb.

Nate was born and raised in Indiana.  He his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Indiana Law Review.
