The practice areas for this position include insurance bad faith, personal injury, and premises liability. A strong candidate will have significant UM/UIM bad faith defense experience. This position requires current license to practice in Colorado, exceptional legal research and writing skills, strong academic credentials, excellent communication, and computer skills. Sutton | Booker | P.C. seeks an experienced litigation paralegal to join our growing team. Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification and 5-10 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal. The practice areas for this position include personal injury, property damage, and insurance bad faith. A successful candidate will be a team player, be responsible for assisting attorneys in all stages of litigation matters, and feel comfortable taking the initiative and managing assigned cases. Paralegals are responsible for conducting investigations; research; collecting records; preparing and filing pleadings; case management, including calendaring, and assistance with expert witnesses, trial preparation and trial. We offer a competitive salary of between $65,000 and $85,000 a year, dependent on experience, 100% medical insurance premium paid by employer, 401k eligibility after 1 year with employer paid contribution regardless of employee contribution, 100% FAMLI premium payment by employer, annual wellness and technology stipends, and a congenial and collaborative work environment.
