Sutton Booker is proud to announce Lily Nierenberg has been promoted to a Partner in the firm.
Lily defends clients in matters involving UM/UIM bad faith, property damage bad faith, coverage and indemnity, and premises liability. Lily focuses on trying to resolve cases early and efficiently. Where that is not possible, she develops the strongest factual and legal foundation to position the case for a favorable settlement or trial outcome. Lily enjoys complex legal analysis and has briefed and won a number of dispositive motions and has successfully tried cases in state and federal court including a recent federal jury trial during COVID.
In her time at Sutton Booker, Lily has obtained multiple defense verdicts, including on behalf of a retailer and in favor of a third-party insured client involving breach of contract and premises liability act claims. Lily has authored a successful motion for summary judgment in favor of an insurance client in a case involving breach of contract and bad faith claims arising out of a property insurance dispute. Lily has also contributed to amicus curiae briefs for various legal issues in front of the Colorado Supreme Court and United States Supreme Court.
Lily is admitted to practice law in Colorado and Montana. Lily earned her undergraduate degree from Vassar College and her law degree from the University of Minnesota.
